Plain answer: cancelling is easy, and if we genuinely didn't deliver, we make it right. Here's how each part works.
Cancelling a subscription
- Email [email protected] or message us any time — no lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees.
- Your subscription runs until the end of the current paid month, then stops. Sites, content and dashboards keep working until that date.
- For Studio-hosted sites we'll help you export your site before it goes offline — your site is yours.
Subscription refunds
- We don't refund partial months for a change of mind — but if we failed to deliver the service as described, tell us and we'll fix it, credit it or refund the affected period.
- If we couldn't run the service for a stretch due to a problem on our side (not yours or a third party's), we'll extend or credit that time.
Project work (websites, bots, integrations)
- Deposits secure your build slot and the early work. If you cancel mid-project, we refund the portion not yet worked on — you'll always get an honest accounting.
- If we can't deliver what was scoped, you get your deposit back in full.
Physical products
MONTE Shop products (phone cases and accessories) are made to order. Their return and refund terms are on monteshop.com.au — change-of-mind returns generally aren't possible on made-to-order goods, but faulty or damaged items are always replaced or refunded.
Your consumer rights
Nothing here limits your Australian Consumer Law rights. If goods or services aren't supplied with due care and skill or don't match their description, you're entitled to a remedy — we'll always sort it out.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We'll confirm by email when a refund is issued, including the amount and reference. If a payment was made through Shopify or another processor, their own processing times apply on top of ours — we'll tell you the expected window when we confirm the refund.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our refund and cancellation policy works alongside your legal rights, not instead of them. Under Australian Consumer Law, services must be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for the purpose you told us about. If a service has a major failure, you can choose a refund or a fix — that's not our discretion, it's the law. The ACCC explains consumer guarantees plainly. If anything in this page seems to conflict with those rights, your legal rights win.
